Jennifer KeetonLike many Christians, Jennifer Keeton had the hopes of becoming a certified counselor. While working on her Master’s degree at Augusta State University in Georgia, she was abruptly placed in remediation. This came after the school learned of her biblical views on homosexuality. They told her that she must participate in a plan to re-educate her beliefs in order to remain in the program.

Part of this plan was that Keeton attend a gay pride parade, an event celebrating behavior she finds immoral, and write about how it made her feel. This kind of action on the part of the University is completely out of line. Keeton has brought a lawsuit against the school.

Her hopes of becoming a counselor should not be at the cost of her faith. Join us in demanding that the University stop violating Keeton’s first amendment rights.

TAKE ACTION:

Contact the President of the Augusta State University, Dr. William Bloodworth, and demand that they stop discriminating against students of faith.
